A foursome of thieves is on the loose after allegedly robbing a video game store.
According to detectives, Thursday around 8 p.m., two men wielding handguns and wearing black masks, entered Game Stop in Hempstead. They ordered one store employee on the floor and the other to the cash register. One of the men ran to the back where he opened a door, letting two additional accomplices inside.
The foursome grabbed money from the cash register and ransacked the employee area. But they weren’t finished. Before fleeing the video game shop, they ordered both Game Stop employees to the employee area and removed their personal property.
No injuries were reported.
