An Oceanside woman was arrested after stealing from the home she worked at since November 2011.
According to police, 30-year-old Mirjana Cindric, snatched possessions worth approximately $10,000 from a home she was babysitting at. While employed as a babysitter at the home on Main St., she allegedly took assorted jewelry, silver items and cash.
In February, Crimes Against Property Squad detectives helped recover the victim’s jewelry and silver items from A&A Goldbuyer located in East Meadow, IC Gold/OK Pawn Brokers in Baldwin and Enterprise Pawnbrokers located in Elmont.
On March 3, Cindric was arrested at her Oceanside home. According to cops, she was found in possession of two stolen credit cards and an OK Pawn Brokers loan receipt on a diamond ring, belonging to her former employers. Cindric is being charged with Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and will be arraigned on Sunday at First District Court, Hempstead.
