Picture 41While the Hamptons are a hub for luxurious shopping, beautiful beaches and delectable dining, sometimes it can come with a large price tag. Not this week though, as the Hamptons Restaurant Week is in full swing, offering great discounts on dining, lodging and at vineyards.

On March 18 the Tenth Annual Hamptons Restaurant Week kicked off, with the week dedicated to dining deals continuing through March 25.

“The premise of Hamptons Restaurant Week is to attract new diners at sluggish periods by restaurants putting forward their best menu and service at a fraction of the price,” reads HamptonsRestaurantWeek.com.

The annual event on the East End of Long Island was introduced back in 2003 and has grown into a massive celebration with new restaurants joining each year. The week offers visitors special prix fixe dinners as well as discounts at lodging properties and local vineyards.

From Sunday to Sunday, all participating restaurants are offering a three course prix fixe for $19.95 and/or $24.95 all night, except Saturday when it will only be offered until 7 p.m.

Participating restaurants that range from American cuisine to Asian and Italian, include Touch of Venice Restaurant in Cutchogue, Fresno, Race Lane and The 1770 House in East Hampton, North Fork Oyster Company in Greenport, Rumba in Hampton Bays and North Fork Table & Inn in Southold and Blackwells Restaurant in Wading River, among others.

Non-restaurant participants offer visitors a place to rest between meal deals like East Hampton Point that’s offering $310 per night in any of the Palmer House Suites.

“The non-restaurant participants broaden the scope of the promotion by offering discounts at vineyards and lodging properties on the East End,” reads HamptonsRestaurantWeek.com.

Make a day, a few days, or a whole week of it with great deals, and great grub!
