Tiger Woods wears his frustration on his face. He frequently mutters words to himself following dreadful shots. On Friday, he took it to another level.

After a disappointing tee shot on the 16th hole, Woods let his emotions out after his ball fell into the right bunker. Woods dropped his club, and followed that up by kicking it a good 10 feet.

After his round of 75, Woods found himself eight shots behind leaders Fred Couples and Jason Dufer.

The little temper tantrum was probably the last thing Woods needed after a rough day.

“I think we can officially say Tiger has lost his game…and his mind,” CBS golf commentator Nick Faldo said after Wood’s club-kicking tantrum.

Woods offered an explanation after the round:

“Well, it’s a simple 9-iron. It’s not that hard,” Woods said of his shot at the 16th tee, according to the New York Daily News. “Just a three quarter 9-iron, hold it against the slope. It’s a very easy golf shot, and I laid the shaft down and stuck it to the right just like I did on 15.”

What about the rest of the round?

“Not having much,” Woods said, according to the Associated Press. “I didn’t have it today with my swing, unfortunately. I just had to hang in there and be patient.”
