Picture 91Those who saw Basketball Wives Monday night were surely not surprised that Tami Roman was involved in another fight. But this time, her violent outburst and war she waged against a scared cast member may have crossed the line.

The episode was explosive to say the least and it was all thanks to Tami, whose bad temper got the best of her while vacationing in Tahiti with the girls.

The trouble started when the cast members sat down at a table and Tami decided to discuss Kesha Nichol’s backstabbing.  In the past, Kesha had said “I could’ve come at Tami and said whatever I wanted to but there’s nothing I could’ve said that would have made her look worse than she was making herself look” and it got back to Tami by another cast member.

Tami began screaming at Kesha. “Any b**** that doesn’t want to get it popping should keep they mouth closed,” she says in one scene to Kesha who can be seen standing behind the bar and trying to diffuse the heated situation by saying,  “I don’t want to fight with you.” Kesha eventually became so scared, she left her bag behind with Tami, who refused to return it until Kesha apologized. The tears began rolling when Tami later visited Kesha’s hotel room for another round. Kesha refused to open her door and only did so after Roman left, to reveal she had grown so upset she couldn’t help but cry.

Later in the episode Kesha went to hotel officials to get her bag back. Tami caught wind of a possible arrest and eventually decided to give back her bag but not before going through her phone and wearing her sunglasses.

Kesha ended up leaving Tahiti after only two days and took to her blog to share her experience.

“What I experienced was extremely difficult and emotional for me, as I’m sure it is for all victims of bullying,” read her blog, according to reports “Unfortunately, I had to relive my personal experience by watching it happen on national television.”

After watching the episode, Roman issued a public apology via Facebook, though it couldn’t have meant much to Kesha as the damage had already been done for all the world to see.

“I don’t apologize for it 2b accepted – that is ultimately the other person’s right to accept or deny it. My only responsibility is to acknowledge a mistake was made and own up to it. I apologize to my family, my REAL friends, my business colleagues, and my Project Girl ladies 4my recent behavior on BBW. I am NOT a bully as depicted on the show, but I did make poor decisions in handling my differences with my cast mate. I sincerely apologize to all of us, as well as to my castmate who was on the receiving end of my wrath,” read her Facebook post.

Violence isn’t anything new for the reality show, which has been harshly criticized for it in the past, though this season the violence seems to be at an all time high.

In one episode Evelyn Lozada’s assistant was seen getting physical. She slapped cast member Jennifer Williams in the face to which Williams later pressed charges. In another episode, Evelyn Lozada jumped up from a table, heels in hand and began screaming and attempting to chase down cast member Kenya.

According to Christian Post, the show was just renewed for a fifth season but with less violence as Shed Media, who produces the show, insisted the cast will be encouraged to resolve their issues in a “non-violent” way throughout the next season.

“Shed Media US is fully committed to telling the compelling stories of the Basketball Wives in a balanced way. Our producing partner Shaunie O’Neal feels strongly about this, and we fully agree with this stance. We support her as she encourages the cast members to work out issues in a non-violent fashion. We look forward to working with her and the rest of the cast on conveying more balance in the next season,” a Shed Media statement read, according to Christian Post.
