Amanda Bynes was arrested for driving under the influence and hitting a police car — and now she wants President Obama to fire the cop who arrested her, MTV News reported.
Bynes was taken into custody in California on April 6 for misdemeanor DUI after she allegedly got into a minor car accident with a Los Angeles Police Department officer.
According to the reports, the Nickelodeon actress was trying to drive passed a police car when the officer was trying to make a right-hand turn in West Hollywood. But when Bynes was unable to maneuver around the police car, her black BMW smashed into the right rear panel of the cruiser. Both vehicles had minor damage from the accident.
The officer pursued Bynes and took her into custody. But her claims reportedly made in the media seem to indicate Bynes believes she is above the law and should not be held to the same consequences as the rest of society.
On May 27 she posted on Twitter, “I can’t help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me. I was not in any hit and runs. I don’t drink so the DUI is false.”
The charges were made official on June 5, which is what made the starlet take to the social network again where she made a desperate plea to the president. You know, because he has nothing better to do than save former teen stars from the “big bad cops.”
She tweeted, “Hey @BarackObama… I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end.”
As of June 6, Obama has not responded to her tweet.
