The Cantiague Park Senior Men’s Golf League had its seventh tournament on June 7. They had 36 golfers on a beautiful sunny morning. There were five golfers who scored 39 or better. Sveld Knudsen scored a brilliant 38 for low actual score and Jim O’Brien won low overall net. Charlie Hong scored under 40 for the seventh time in a row and leads the money board with $55. Pat Lehane won the 50/50 raffle.

Low Flight B – Joe Sander (30) with handicap and tiebreaker
2nd Low Flight (B) – Don Rogers (30) with handicap and tiebreaker.
Leaders in points scored for club champion in Flight A are Charley Hong with 19 points, Geoff Tripp with 18, Dave Malle with 15, and Bob Ross with 13.
Leaders in points for Flight B are John Bosco with 11 points and with nine points. There is a tie between Kent Schreiber, Ben Oey and Joe Sander.
Competition on the nine-hole course is divided into two divisions. Flight A is for players with a handicap of 13 or lower. Flight B is for players with a handicap of 14 or more. The league is a 100 percent handicap league. Any man 55 years or older is eligible for membership.
