The weather is hot, sticky and humid, perfect for the beach or pool. However, just remember it only takes a few seconds to drown. Sounds very foreboding, but it’s true, so be careful especially in the ocean. The waves this year, for some reason, are extremely fierce and in fact, almost every day someone is rescued at Jones Beach. Also, be sure to watch your children or anyone’s children playing in a pool, as pools, too, can be very dangerous. Just a word of warning.
