Obituary: Elizabeth W. Aitken

Aitken, Elizabeth W. (neé Hoebeler), 93, of North Canton, OH, (formerly of West Islip) passed away on Jan. 19 in Windsor Health Care after a brief illness. Proceeded by the death of her husband, Rudolph and brother William Hoebeler. Survived by daughter Elizabeth Starke (late William) and William Aitken (Clare). Loved by six grandchildren: Russell, Timothy, and Andrew Starke; Robert and Christopher Aitken; Jeanne Volz, and nine great-grandchildren. A religious service was held at the funeral home Jan. 24 with interment following at Maple Grove Cemetery, in Forest Hills. Donation in Elizabeth’s name may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Road, Ste. 440, Independence, OH 44131. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
