The Garden City Hotel continues to show that it’s not only maintaining its stellar reputation for posh accommodations and five-star service, but striving to up the ante considerably as it proceeds under its new ownership. The latest wrinkle comes in the kitchen of the hotel’s award-winning Rein restaurant, where Executive Chef Michael Mandato recently launched the inaugural Chef’s Table. This new and exclusive monthly dinner series allows guests to get a front-row seat and dine in the chef’s kitchen while their meals are being prepared. For this elaborate 5-course meal, foodies got to sup on such delectable dishes as grilled smoked quail breast, butter poached Maine lobster and char sui braised pork belly. The accompanying photo of the Colorado lamb tasting is as mouth-wateringly good to the palate as it looks to the eye. It’s yet another reason to check into the Garden City Hotel.
