Carey High School announced Sean Nagy and Shannon O’Connell as its male and female February seniors of the month.
Nagy is an active member of the Future Business Leaders of America and was inducted in the Business Honor Society this year. He has played on the Varsity Football Team since sophomore year. Nagy’s superb playing skills earned him a spot on the Nassau County Senior Bowl All Star Team this past November. O’Connell demonstrated outstanding academic achievement by taking a rigorous course load; she has been an active member in the National, Science and Math Honor Societies. She has been awarded scholar athlete for both Varsity volleyball and Varsity softball teams. She is a leader through and through as Vice President of the class of 2013, Captain of the Varsity Volleyball team, and a member of our leadership gym program.
