Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto, Councilman Joseph Pinto, Councilwoman Michele Johnson and Town Clerk James Altadonna Jr., welcomed players and coaches from the U.S. Military All-Stars and the Long Island Force to John J. Burns Field in Massapequa for the First Annual Supervisor’s Trophy Game.
The Military All-Stars, a team of players with ties to the U.S. Armed Forces came to the Town of Oyster Bay to play against the Long Island Force, a team of prominent Long Island high school baseball players. The U.S. Military All-Stars, who won the game 8-5, tour the nation to promote awareness of the sacrifices made by members of the U.S. military.
In addition to the game the night featured, a youth baseball clinic, a home run derby contest and patriotic ceremonies.
