Island Trees High School Named Among Top Schools

Newsweek magazine has named Island Trees High School among the top 2,000 secondary schools in America for 2013 These selected schools have proven to be the most effective in turning out college-ready graduates. This year, Island Trees High School jumped from 885 to number 779. Criteria included the four-year, on-time graduation rate, the percentage of students accepted to college, Advanced Placement Tests taken per student, the average of students enrolled in at least one AP course, the average AP score and the average SAT score.
