Kiwanis Fundraiser
The Kiwanis Club of Farmingdale will hold a fundraiser to benefit Tim Jaccard’s Baby Safe Haven Children of Hope Crusade on Aug. 1 at the Farmingdale Public Library, beginning at 7 p.m. Free admission, open to all. CYO Basketball Registration
The St. Kilian CYO program will be holding registration for their girls and boys Basketball teams for the upcoming 2013-14 season on Aug. 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the gym lobby at St. Kilian’s on Cherry Street in Farmingdale. Boys and girls in grades 3-8 are invited to register for participation on a travel basketball team representing St. Kilian Parish. Also looking for volunteer coaches in all age brackets. Any adults who would like to volunteer to coach will need to submit background check paperwork and take the parish mandated VIRTUS training. Payment of $150 is due at time of registration. Sibling discounts are available.
