The Dad’s Club of New Hyde Park Memorial High School recently held its season opening fundraiser cook out at Tully Park Gladiators playing against the Bethpage Golden Eagles. It started out with blue skies with the Dad’s Club cooking for the big crowed that night. Principal Dr. Richard Faccio stopped by to greet Dad’s Club President Sal Balducci.
The 50/50 winner was Al Glueckert, a parent of Bethpage student, who won $205. The money from the fundraiser, willb e used for the students at the high school for programs, scholarships and awards.
Last year, the club gave out $6,500. Club meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month in the high school library.
