Marching Band Competition
The Farmingdale High School Marching Band will compete in the annual Marching Band Festival at Hofstra University on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. Admission is $10.

Homecoming

Halloween Party
St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 298 Conklin Street is holding its Safe Halloween Party on Oct. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $ 20 per family or $ 5 for a single, there will be games, snacks, pizza, punch, soda, haunted house, piñata, games, all are welcome.
Special Olympics Softball Tournament

“1880 Long Island Halloween” at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration on Oct. 19-20, 26-27. Includes a monster scavenger hunt, tales from the grave digger, pumpkin carving demonstrations, tarot card readings, broom making for witches, and more.
