The Levittown Soccer Club’s annual fundraiser to support breast cancer research was assisted by some of its smallest members. The Girls U6 Mustangs, made up entirely of six-year-olds and under, purchased shirts and their coach matched their contribution by purchasing their socks in the now familiar PINK representing Breast Cancer Awareness. These items are sold each year by Levittown Soccer Club as part of their commitment to raise money for breast cancer research. The travel director, Kris Tung, dedicates countless hours and square footage in his home to ensure that the “Let’s Kick Cancer” program continues to rally the Levittown Soccer community. Last year the club donated $4,000 to breast cancer research.
At noon on Sunday, Oct. 27 the Levittown Soccer Club is presenting an $8,000 check to Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) at Gardiners Avenue Elementary School, after selling pink socks and t-shirts to the community. All kids are wearing during games to raise awareness and show efforts. For information call Nicole Mancini at 347-739-2178.
