Did you ever wonder what a “Daler” was? The girls from Troop 3729 did and decided to make sure their school knew what it represents. As part of their Take Action Project, girl scouts created a mural at Howitt Middle School on what it means to them. With the permission of the principal, they picked the location and started to outline the concept. They concluded that a “Daler” is someone who represents strong positive traits. Some of the words they came up with included “unique, thoughtful, athletic, honest, loyal and hard working.”
