Christmas with the Roosevelts
Sagamore Hill National Historic Site hosts Christmas with the Roosevelts at Sagamore Hill on Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include holiday music performed by Larry Moser and Mary Nagin, Christmas carols sung by the quartet Close Enough, and James Foote, TR enactor will tell how the Roosevelts celebrated Christmas at Sagamore Hill and in the White House. Holiday arts and crafts activities for children of all ages. Complimentary hot cocoa and cider provided by the Friends of Sagamore Hill. The Visitor Center bookstore offers 15 percent off on Dec. 7 and 8. Theodore Roosevelt Museum at Old Orchard and the grounds are open with free interpretive programs offered daily. Huntington Men’s Chorus

Baroque Holiday Fest
The LI Baroque Ensemble performs on Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. in a Baroque Holiday Fest. The LIBE performs a repertoire of rarely heard and unpublished works along with period favorites. Tickets are: $20 general, $15 seniors, $10 students, and children admitted free with paying adult.

Holiday Express
The OBEN Chamber of Commerce joins the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum in sponsoring the annual Holiday Express weekend on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a family friendly holiday celebration. Come enjoy free horse and carriage rides, decorated for the holidays; photo ops with Santa Claus on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m., bring your camera. The tree lighting at the Derby-Hall bandstand will be on Saturday, too.] It’s a great chance to see the museum collection of artifacts and photographs; and an operating model railroad; have hot cider, candy canes and light refreshments; raffles and a 50/50. Gospel Concert And Open House
The Oyster Bay Historical Society celebrates the holidays with a concert and open house on Saturday, Dec. 14. The musical program, provided by the Hood Mass Choir, begins at 4 p.m. at the Hood A.M.E. Zion Church at 137 South Street. Then walk to the Earle-Wightman House and the Koenig Center at 20 Summit Street, for their open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Food, refreshments, and good cheer, free and open to the public although donations to the church and to the society are welcomed. Christmas Memories
The Locust Valley Historical Society is seeking toys from the 1960s or earlier for an exhibit they will curate at the library during the month of December, in a locked cabinet and listed with information about the owner. Please drop off toys at the circulation desk at the LV Library and be sure to receive a receipt advised Mary Jane Lippert, LVHS historian; Herbert W.
