The Farmingdale High School’s 2012-2013 Girls Lacrosse Team was recently honored by New York State Senators Kemp Hannon and Charles Fuschillo for winning the 2013 New York State Class A Championship. Members of the championship team, including Class of 2013 Alumni, were in attendance to accept their awards from the senators.
“The students have worked hard all year and we’re very pleased to see that their hard work has paid off,” said Farmingdale High School Superintendent John Lorentz. “Their diligence and dedication in the classroom and on the field has made them terrific role models within our community.”
The Lady Dalers posted a 16-3 record on the way to their State Championship. The team went on to defeat Baldwinsville High School by a score of 8-5 to win the title at SUNY Cortland.
“We are extremely proud of our Lady Dalers Lacrosse team and their accomplishments,” said Glen Zakian Farmingdale High School Principal. “It was an honor for them to be included in this ceremony and I know these young ladies will only continue to succeed in the future.”
