Salk completed its intramural wrestling program, which was open to all students in grades 6-8. Over 70 student-athletes, ranging from beginners to advanced wrestlers, took advantage of this great opportunity. New wrestlers were able to learn the fundamentals of wrestling, while the more experienced wrestlers learned advanced strategy and technique. The intramurals concluded with a dual meet takedown tournament. The winning team was led by eighth graders Doug Harden, Jake Hunter, Calvin Louie, Joe Novak, Sebastian Romero and Danny Steinman. Coach Lassen and Coach Luball are excited for the Salk Middle School wrestling season and wish all student-athletes the best of luck in the future.
