New Hyde Park Memorial High School recognized John Stampfli and Ashley Thomas as Students of the Month. Stampfli was honored for his achievement in the 10th-grade advanced regents chemistry class. He is an enthusiastic science student with incredible potential. Stampfli has superb problem-solving skills as well as incredible insight. He enjoys snowboarding and is also an active member of the track team.
Thomas is a student in Ms. Livoti’s drawing and painting class. She has shown an exceptional talent in drawing and she has a true passion for art. Thomas participates with enthusiasm, often taking part in outside of school art competitions. She is a member of the National Art Honor Society, where she helps with school beautification projects and fundraising.
