The hills were alive with “The Sound of Music” this past weekend in the Immaculata Hall Auditorium at Saint Mary’s as the Elementary School Drama Program presented three consecutive performances of the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein classic. Each night, the audience was dazzled by the incredible talent of the young cast under the direction of Mr. Andrew Koslosky of The Josephine Foundation (JOFO).
In their ninth year with St. Mary’s Elementary School, JOFO has helped discover and bring out talent in middle school students that ultimately creates a winning combination of professionals working alongside students who either perform on stage or learn the art of backstage production.
The Josephine Foundation is also working at the High School level in the inaugural year of the Fine and Performing Arts Program, which will present another production on the Immaculata Hall stage in May.
