Obituary: Vitale, Carmine

Carmine “Charlie” Vitale, a lifelong Bethpage resident passed away at the age of 93 on March 20, 2014. Retired after 36 years of service at Grumman Aerospace. Originally one of seven children, he was the last one, and was predeceased by Mildred Ruggiero, Mary, Josephine Ingenito, Frank, Peter and Anthony. He is survived by three in-laws, 20 nieces and nephews, and their families. A Funeral Mass was held Monday, March 24, at St. Martin of Tours, followed by interment with military honors at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
