The New Hyde Park Memorial Junior High School Mathletes team, consisting of over 40 members, won first place as school district champs in the seventh, eighth and ninth-grade divisions.
In Nassau County, New Hyde Park’s ninth-grade team took third place, while the eighth-grade team won fifth place. Student Daniel Celic took third place overall receiving individual top honors.
