Students at Syosset High School were able to experience several global cultures recently as part of the school’s annual multicultural fair. The fair, which has been a staple at the school for more than 15 years, enables students to visit several booths to learn and explore various cultures.
Facilitated by the world language department, students of Latin, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, French and American Sign Language showcased the culture, food and activities of their respective language. Additionally, members of the Korean and Israeli culture clubs were on hand to educate students about their cultures. Each booth featured a range of traditional cuisine, games, activities and displays to give students a better understanding of all the world cultures. — Syosset Schools
