A 38-year-old man was stabbed to death in his hometown of Huntington Station on Saturday night, Suffolk County police said.

Officers responded to the a report of a stabbing behind a restaurant on New York Avenue, where they found Luis Ramos-Rodriguez lying on the ground with a stab wound at 9:38 p.m., police said.

The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His remains were taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office, where an autopsy will be conducted.
