Obituary: Jean Rooney

Rooney, Jean (neé Hamill) on June 20. Formerly of Farmingdale and Montauk. Jean is survived by her loving daughters, Maureen (Shawn) Geary, Patti (John) McNamara and Tara (Mike) Terry. A doting nanny to Shawn Jr., Jack, Brigid Jean, Tara, Patrick, Michael Jr., Cormac and Maura. She leaves behind beloved mother, Edna Hamill and siblings Florence, Joan, Pat and Kathleen as well as dedicated sisters and brother-in-law, Margie, Judy, Rachel and Kevin as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass was held at St. Kilian R.C. Church. Arrangements entrusted to the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Inc.
