Celebrity chef, Food Network host, entrepreneur and cookbook author Ina Garten, known to all as The Barefoot Contessa, will host an exclusive summer Garden Party on Friday, July 25, between 4 and 6 pm. to benefit the Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) at the Pat & Mary Bagnato Place for Kids, a program of EAC Network .
Guests will congregate for wine, champagne and hors d’oeuvres in Ina’s gardens, visit the test kitchen where she films her show, receive a signed cookbook and have the opportunity to meet Ina. Special guest Katie Beers will be present to discuss the issue of child abuse and how the CAC provides a neutral, child-focused environment where a coordinated response to child abuse allegations may be pursued in ways that support and protect children, non-offending parents, and other family members.
