Former NASA Apollo astronaut Fred Haise, at left, is shaking hands with Ernie Finamore, 88, of Massapequa Park, at a Summer of ‘69 Celebration Event held at the Long Island Cradle of Aviation Museum, on the 45th Anniversary of NASA Apollo 11 LEM landing on the moon July 20, 1969. Finamore, was a QCQuality Control inspector for the Lunar Excursion Module from 1965 to 1971. Haise, the lunar module pilot for Apollo 13 mission, was in the LEM room during the reunion of former Northrop Grumman.
