Plandome Ladies Golf Association
Play for P.I.N.K. (Prevention, Immediate diagnosis, New technology, Knowledge) or (PFP) is a grassroots charity organization dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research through sporting and lifestyle events. On Tuesday, July 29, the Plandome Ladies’ Golf Organization held their annual golf, tennis, mah Jongg and bridge tournaments in support of this worthy cause. Chairpersons Karen Blum, Mary McGorry and their many supporters worked tirelessly until the last minute raising over $20,000. That will buy a lot of petri dishes…may it be one of these that finds the cure. Congratulations to Karen, Mary and all who participated in making the day a P.I.N.K.-fect success!
