Manhasset Goes Back To School

Ending the beautiful summer on a sunny note, Manhasset students began another school year on Sept. 2. By school bus or car, or on foot, the children anxiously arrived to Munsey Park, Shelter Rock, the Middle School and the High School and were greeted by Dr. Kendall, and Mrs. Murray at Munsey Park, Mr. Geczik and Mrs. Willliams at Shelter Rock, Dr. Schlanger and Mr. Vercessi at the High School/Middle School and of course, Mr. Cardillo, who visited all of the schools and continues to greet the middle schoolers and high school students at the entrance to the campus every day. After entering the freshly decorated and cleaned buildings, the students met their welcoming teachers, who had spent time over the summer setting up their rooms and preparing for the upcoming school year, and they settled in for a school great year.  Click here for photos.

The SCA also began its year by preparing for committees and events and encourages any community members, school personnel and parents to join and further be involved in the education of the children of Manhasset.
