The Roslyn School Board recommended the approval of payments to the firm, Park East Construction Corporation at Thursday night’s board meeting at Roslyn High School. The payments were for construction management services and reimbursements rendered to the district pertaining to various projects.
A total off $650 was paid out to Park East for renovation on one of the bathrooms at Harbor Hill and $793.46 was doled out to the Corporation for a New York State Department of Labor investigation. Three payments of $1,800 each was also paid out for capital improvement projects.
Burton Behrendt Smith (BBS) Architects were awarded a payment of $2,476.30 by the district for professional services rendered and reimbursable expenses pertaining to capital improvements in the high school’s athletic room.
The Board approved the following payments for the architectural firm, KG & D Architects for professional services in the district. A total of $2,690.68 was approved for capital projects at the East Hills School. A total of $1,257.68 was approved for capital projects at the Heights School.
A total of $2,246.75 was approved for projects at Harbor Hill and $4,697.78 for projects at the High School. Finally, a total of $1,281.93 was also paid out for capital projects at the Middle School.
The next Board of Education meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. at Roslyn High School.
