In an effort to continue keeping children safe as they arrive and depart from school, the Levittown School District provided bus safety training by district drivers. At Lee Road Elementary School, students learned about proper behavior, as well as procedures in the event of an emergency. The drivers then demonstrated how to safely exit from the rear of the bus during an emergency. Lee Road teacher Pamela Smith and bus driver Alu Zuardi helped students exit from the back of the bus, a skill they need to learn in case of an emergency.
