Class Of Life: Growing Up Italian
The Sons of Italy proudly presents Paul Failla in The Class of Life, a theatrical show about family, honor, respect and growing up Italian with sprinkles of hilarity strewn throughout. Tickets became available on Sept. 22 at the reference desk. Limit 2 tickets per Farmingdale resident. Non residents were able to start picking up tickets on Sept. 29. Church Of St. Jude’s 11th Annual St. Francis Blessing Of The Animals
In recognition of the truly precious gift that God’s creatures bring to our daily lives, The Church of St. Jude will hold its 11th annual St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals at 4 p.m. in its St. Francis Memorial Garden located at the rear of the parish parking lot. The blessing is free and open to the public.
Individuals and pets from all faith traditions are welcome. For more information about St. Jude or the Episcopal Church, please call 516-221-2505 or visit www.thechurchofstjude.org. The parish is located at 3606 Lufberry Ave. (south of Jerusalem Avenue only 2 ½ blocks East of Wantagh Avenue). There is ample parking available behind the church buildings.

A screening of the 2014 sports drama Draft Day starring Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner will be held at 1:15 & 6:30 p.m. at the Farmingdale Public At the NFL Draft, General Manager Sonny Waver has the opportunity to rebuild his team when he trades for the number one pick.
