ment 614 and Marine Corps League Commandant Vincent Annunziata presented a plaque to Manhasset resident Bernie Costelli for his generous contributions to the Semper Fi Fund.
The fund provides grants to the injured from all of the nation’s military services. A fund raising dinner was held at the American Legion Williston Park Post No.144 on Saturday Oct. 4. The dinner raised in excess of $ 18,000, and the League plans to hold an even bigger and better event next year. We feel our service men and women need our help and that is why we will continue with similar events in the future.
