I have known Bonnie Parente as a neighbor for over 10 years and have had the honor of serving on the Board of Trustees for the Village of East Williston for almost 4 years. As the Deputy Mayor, Bonnie has always listened to residents concerns and situations and then discussed with the Board various ways to find a fair and equitable solution. We need an independent thinker in North Hempstead, who is not afraid to confront and challenge adversity. She has strong organizational skills and is a leader, not a follower.
She has shown herself more than capable to take on the challenge of Town Councilwoman. She is aware of important concerns of North Hempstead and will lead as an informed candidate by utilizing her skills and knowledge, while safeguarding the community with the town’s objectives.
She is dedicated to her family, her law practice, and her many volunteer positions. She has already proven herself in community service by working with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, St. Aidan’s Council, the EW Fire Department, to name just a few.
When I go to the polls on Nov. 4, I will ask myself, who will serve us the best, not what party ticket they are on. I will vote independently for Bonnie Parente and I urge all to get out and vote for her too.
