On Wednesday evening, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., the Garden City Lord & Taylor will once again host the Garden City Chamber’s annual Taste of Garden City after-hours networking event. For the eighth consecutive year, this will serve as an early kick-off to the 2014 holiday season. Showcased will be a wealth of member restaurants and eateries graciously providing samplings of their finest culinary specialties.
No need for dinner following this much-looked-forward-to event in Lord & Taylor’s festively decorated, party-like atmosphere. Held in the renowned Sarabeth Restaurant at the north-east corner of the second level, there will be ample time for holiday shopping throughout the store, both during and following the event.
Advance reservations are required at $25 for Chamber members, $30 for non-members. (Chamber members may bring guests at the Chamber fee.) Please make checks payable to the Garden City Chamber of Commerce and deliver or mail to the Chamber at 230 Seventh St. by Friday, Nov. 14.
