Tree Lighting Poster Contest

Calling all Manhasset artists grade kindergarten through sixth, create a poster to publicize the annual tree lighting at Mary Jane Davies Park.
Contest rules are simple: posters may be drawn in any medium, from crayon to collage and any size poster board is allowed.
All artwork must include the following information on the front:
Theme: Beautiful Manhasset For The Holidays.
Date and Time: Friday, Dec. 5 at 4:15 p.m.
Your poster submission should include your name, phone number, grade and school must be printed clearly on the back.
Turn your entry into either your art teacher or the Nancy Morris State Farm Agency at 22 Bayview Ave., 516-365-2525. (Since artwork is displayed throughout the town, posters are not able to be returned.)
All entries must be received by Nov. 21 at 3 p.m.
Recognition and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places at the tree lighting ceremony. Refreshments will be served, holiday songs played, contest winners announced and town trees lit. Santa will stop by on his fire truck. Make this a special event by entering a poster.
