A 46-year-old Bay Shore man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car that turned in front of him in Brentwood on Wednesday evening.

Suffolk County police said Vincent Alcarese was riding his Harley Davidson southbound on Brentwood Road when he struck a northbound Buick Century that was making a left turn at the corner of Suffolk Avenue shortly before 5 p.m.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 31-year-old man driving the Buick was not injured, and stayed at the scene.

Third Squad detectives impounded both vehicles, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone that may have witnessed this crash, but has not yet been interviewed by detectives, to call them at 631-854-8352.
