The children and families at Temple Beth Sholom’s Early Childhood Center of Roslyn recently participated in their annual Food Drive to benefit those in need.
The children brought in non-perishable food items that were counted and categorized and filled up the Early Childhood Center hallway with their generous donations. At the conclusion of the food drive, the children packed up their donations, brought them to the waiting truck from the Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN) and helped load the many packages onto the truck. The children learned an important lesson about Tikun Olam (taking care of the world) and felt very good about the success of this event.
The Early Childhood Center at Temple Beth Sholom provides a quality education to children ages 12 months through pre-kindergarten. For more information, call 516-621-2288.
