Timing Of Vote Unfair

It is an unfair advantage toward a yes vote to hold the teacher conference day and the vote at the same time. There is such a thing as ‘home court advantage’ and this is a naked grab of such. Parents are not going to the school, see the facility and their kids teachers and then vote NO!
The timing also shows the insecurity of the BOE in having to gravel for such tactics and scheming. Furthermore, the choice of this date disrupts the week to have kids out on a Wednesday mid-week. Anyone that cared about family and kids would have these Parent/ teacher meetings on Friday or Monday, tied to a weekend. It would be much more fun.
This is self serving and is a bad reflection on the BOE and the administration. It is far from clever and I do not like it.
