The National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) recently announced the 2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III All-Region teams. Farmingdale State men’s soccer junior midfielder J.T. Famularo, of Levittown, was named Third Team All-East Region.
Famularo, a junior majoring in business management, who started every game for the Farmingdale Rams this season, was the teams offensive leader throughout the year. He recorded a team and career-high nine goals, while adding five assists for 23 points.
Famularo ranked seventh in the Skyline Conference in both points and goals and 10th in assists. He has now scored 21 goals, including five game-winners through the first three years of his career at Farmingdale State College.
Famularo is a 2012 graduate of Island Trees High School, where he was a two-time All-County and All-Conference player. His teams were two-time league champions. He is the son of John and Chrissy Famularo.
