Obituary: LiCausi, Alfred

Alfred LiCausi, 96, resident of Farmingdale since 1922, he passed away peacefully on December 14, 2014. In 1945 he founded The Farmingdale Music Center, now in it’s second generation of family ownership (currently Long Island’s oldest established music center). Graduate of Potsdam Teacher’s College. Taught in Bethpage School District from 1940 to 1945. Since 1977 he has been a dedicated member of the Farmingdale Rotary Club, Paul Harris Fellowship recipient. Al volunteered great amounts of time and talent leading the Rotary Club in it’s monthly sing-a-longs for the residents of Daleview Care Center. Loving husband of the late Leonarda (dec. 1979). Cherished father of Linda and Frank. Dear father in law of Valerie. Proud grandfather of Jonathan. A Funeral Service was held Friday, Dec. 19, at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. followed by interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
