The “COMPUTEERS” club of Mineola High School’s Student Service Center is offering a free, four-session technology training course for senior citizens who reside in the Mineola School District. They can teach seniors how to use smartphones, iPads, tablets, e-readers and personal computers.

The winter course will be offered on Wednesdays, Jan. 21, Feb. 4, 11 and 25 from 2:25 to 3:25 p.m. Classes are held at the high school.

No technology experience is necessary and all levels of technology literacy are addressed. Class participants are given one on one instruction with high school student volunteers.
