I was delighted to read of the appointment of Donna Solosky to the Mineola Board of Zoning Appeals in the Mineola American.
I have known Donna for many years and we served together on the Corpus Christi School Board in the 1990s. Donna is a wonderful person who is extremely smart, thoughtful and community minded. She and her family have deep roots in the Mineola community and have contributed so much.
She has always worked hard to make this Village such a wonderful place to live and raise a family and I know her new role on the BZA will give her a great opportunity to continue that tradition.
Best wishes to Donna as she takes on this new appointment and congratulations to Mayor Scott Strauss for such a wise choice.
