Syosset High School ninth grader, Jarrad Li, recently was awarded one of the most outstanding honors for piano. He passed the Associated Board Royal Academy of Music exams given in Flushing, at the advanced Diploma level with distinction, the highest possible rating.
These exams require the utmost in technical and musical expression, combined with essays, theory, interview and knowledge on a whole array of musical subjects. His performance was recorded and taken to England for further analysis. His family and teacher are overjoyed by the panel’s decision after so many months of disciplined and studious work. Jarrad is a student of Mr. Joseph Graziose. He is also an accomplished clarinetist.
