The young female Pit Bull was found hog-tied with wire cable with burns on the inside of her mouth on Audwin Road at 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to Suffolk County SPCA investigators.

A necropsy was performed on the dog, but the results were inconclusive, authorities said.

A $2,000.00 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Suffolk County SPCA investigators ask anyone with information on this case to call them at 631-382-7722. All calls will be kept confidential.
