The Syosset School District held its annual Jazz Festival at Syosset High School on March 30.
The informal evening was a showcase that drove home the progression in music education from elementary, to middle school, to high school. Students from jazz ensembles at Robbins Lane and Berry Hill performed, along with jazz chorus numbers from both H.B. Thompson and South Woods middle schools. The evening culminated in a performance from the high school jazz band.
