Garden City Bird Sanctuary—20th Anniversary Benefit Performance
In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Garden City Bird Sanctuary, a series of events is being planned. The first event is for a special and unique benefit performance of Mark Twain-Alive in Garden City! This will be held on at 8 p.m. at the Garden City Casino. Tickets, which are $35 each, are on sale now and can be purchased by sending a check made payable to “The Garden City Bird Sanctuary, Inc.” and mailing it to TPEC/GCBS, P.O. Republican Club Meeting
The Garden City Republican Club will be welcoming Nicholas Terzulli of the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (NCIDA) as its guest speaker at 8 p.m. Terzulli will discuss how the NCIDA attracts businesses to Long Island by educating them on how to unlock municipal and utility incentives administered by New York State’s Empire State Development Corporation, PSEG, National Grid and the Small Business Administration. Terzulli received a juris doctor from New York University Law School, a BA From American University and is a proud graduate of Chaminade High School. Attendees will get to try desserts by Chef Pam. New members are always welcome—also check the club out on Facebook. The meeting will take place at St. Paul’s Senior center, 108 Rockaway Ave. in Garden City.

Defensive Driving Courses
Six-hour course were conducted by AAA in the Garden City office located at 229 7th St. After March 1, courses will now be held in Homewood Suites by Hilton located at 40 Westbury Ave. in Carle Place.
